Hand Strengthening

Our hands are an important of our everyday activities. We need our hands to get dressed, brush our teeth, make our food, tie our shoes, and the list goes on. When our hands are weak, it makes these kinds of activities challenging. This is the same for grown ups and kids. A simple solution is to use some playdough.

Using playdough you can work on all different areas of your hand strength from pinching small pieces, like you would a key or squishing it through all your fingers like you are making a full fist.

You can even us a popsicle stick and work on cutting strength as if you were holding a knife. You can also use the play dough to help form letters.

It is a versatile and fun medium to help with strengthening which is good for both kids and adults alike.
